Semana 3: Espinas y Tronos

Texto Clave: Lucas 19:28-34

Jesús entra a Jerusalén en un burro, cumpliendo la profecía y anunciando Su Reino… pero no como el pueblo esperaba.

Puntos Clave:

• Jesús no vino a cumplir nuestras expectativas, vino a superarlas.

• No vino a tomar partido. Vino a tomar el control.

• No vino como guerrero, vino como siervo.

Reflexión Bíblica:

”¡Hosanna! Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor!”

La multitud celebraba milagros… pero no reconocía al Mesías.

Alababan el poder… pero no entendían el propósito.

Para Reflexión:

1. ¿Estoy adorando a Jesús solo cuando todo va bien?

2. ¿Sigo confiando aunque no entienda Su plan?

3. ¿Reconozco al Rey incluso cuando viene con humildad?

Para Llevar:

• El pueblo quería un Rey que venciera a Roma…Pero Jesús vino a vencer el pecado y la muerte.

• La gente esperaba un trono de poder…Jesús vino a conquistar con un trono de entrega.

• Jesús lloró, no por falta de alabanza, sino por falta de comprensión.

Aplicación:

• No solo celebres con ramas… ríndete de corazón.

• Jesús aún entra en nuestras vidas hoy—¿lo reconoces?

• La paz verdadera puede venir disfrazada de algo que no esperabas.

Declaración: “Jesús, puedes tenerlo todo: mi alabanza, mis planes, mi orgullo, mi corazón.”

Week 3: Thorns and Thrones

Key Text: Luke 19:28-34

Jesus enters Jerusalem on a donkey, fulfilling prophecy and announcing His Kingdom... but not as the people expected.

Key Points:

• Jesus did not come to meet our expectations, he came to exceed them.

• He did not come to take sides. He came to take control.

• He did not come as a warrior, he came as a servant.

Biblical Reflection:

"Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"

The crowd celebrated miracles... but he did not recognize the Messiah.

They praised power... but they did not understand the purpose.

For Reflection:

1. Am I worshiping Jesus only when everything is going well?

2. Do I continue to trust even if I don't understand His plan?

3. Do I recognize the King even when he comes in humility?

Takeaway:

• The people wanted a King who would defeat Rome, But Jesus came to overcome sin and death.

• People expected a throne of power... Jesus came to conquer with a throne of surrender.

• Jesus wept, not for lack of praise, but for lack of understanding.

Application:

• Don't just celebrate with branches... Surrender from the heart.

• Jesus still enters our lives today—do you recognize him?

• True peace can come disguised as something you didn't expect.

Statement: "Jesus, you can have it all: my praise, my plans, my pride, my heart."
